CSKA won the last game in the group stage of Champions league over Karvina (Czechia) with the result 32:31.

Having lost the first time CSKA evened the score with the help of 17-year old goalkeeper Oleg Grams, line Artem Gritsenko and Alexander Chernyavsky. Then they even led after the strike by Jury Egorov. Muscovites performed good positional attacks and their opponents were deprived of their effective attack trick - fast breakaway. Ten minutes before the end of the game CSKA had advantage of 3 goals. Czechians tried to approach them but it turned out impossible.
