Borodiuk is a candidate to the post of Fakel’s chief coach
Seoul's Olympic champion Alexander Borodiuk, which was in the list of Krilya (Samara) players last year but actually acting as Alexander Tarkhanov's assistant, can start his independent career as a coach. Borodiuk is one of the two probable candidates to the post of Fakel's chief coach (Voronezh), SE-Internet correspondent Andrey ANFINOGENOV reports. |
If the appointment is to take place it would mean returning home to him. He was born in Voronezh, and started to play there; his parents are still living in the town. |
The second candidate to the post is Valery Nenenko, who was discharged from the post of Voronezh team coach last spring. Among other candidates are Viktor Papayev and Viktor Losev, who was working in Fakel as far back as there was Sergey Savchenkov. |
