Bandy Zorkiy severely sanctioned
The participants of a meeting of the Russian Bandy Federation Disciplinary Commitee studied an incident which took place during a match of the Russian Cup second stage between Rodina and Zorkiy in Archangel. Andrei Rushkin, a player of the Moscow Region's team, was disqualified for ten games for assaulting the referee, and Zorkiy was fined 20 thousand roubles, SE correspondent Vladimir YURIN reports. |
The match between the teams from Krasnogorsk and Kirov, which the latter won 3:2, was to decide who would take part in the Cup's quarterfinal. No wonder emotions overwhelmed the players by the end of the game. |
